If you are looking to start a project we may be able to offer you a space of your own in our workshop.
We have a limited amount of space available for individuals to work on their own private boat projects. You will be allocated a position within the workshop that will cover space for your boat as well as room to work. The workshop has a collection of communal benches available for use anytime as well as larger basic items of woodworking machinery such as band saws and linishers. You will be given a key for access to the shed and a pass to enter through the security gate on North Wharf/Collins Wharf. There is ample free parking day or night.
Costing
The costs of boat building facilities is worked out per the project, according to different requirements the project may have. Prices currently starts from $220 per month including gst. The facility fee is billed monthly and any additional services or materials consumed during the month are added to your next month's bill.
Members also receive a discount on materials and consumables purchased through the Victorian Wooden Boat Centre, weekly guidance is also available free of charge every Saturday.
