The mascareta was
originally used for lagoon fishing but developed into an
excursion and racing boat. It can be identified by its
distinctive decks fore and aft. This boat was built in
Melbourne from patterns and drawings from Venice and is a
fully authentic reproduction. Built in mahogany ply, it
comes with two forculos (wooden rowing crutches) carved from
French walnut and imported from Italy, and two rowing oars
also imported from Italy. No safety gear. No trailer.
